I was watching SportsCenter on ESPN with Scott Van Pelt (SVP as he and ESPN calls him), and he brought up a report that the National League is considering, nothing concrete, the idea of using the DH as early as 2017 season. As a baseball purist and a National League city, having the DH in the National League is devastating, but I can see that having a unified batting rules across MLB would be appealing. (I wrote this tread on HFBoards.com)

Status update
On Monday, my dad and I went to Urgent Care. I had a large "bump" on the back of my neck. The doctor said I had a boil. He perscribed an antibiotic and said I should check back within 3-5 days. Today, I made a return trip. The boil, or cyst, not sure which, was ready to be drained. He did get most of the pus out. I'm not out of the woods. Some of the pus was bottled and are being sent to a lab. If the tests are positive, I will need further treatment. Could you still pray for me, please?
I'm an uncle!
Sometime this morning, my sister's water broke. I just found out that her baby boy has been born. So, I'm an uncle. I feel so spent. I just am not ready for such a roll. Could you please pray for the baby, my sister, and me?

With the passing of John Madden, could my fellow artists consider drawing the Freedom Fighters from Sonic the Hedgehog mourning the loss of the "Madden NFL" namesake, please?
Big news!
My sister called my house on Father's Day. She's going to have a baby! (I know this is extremely late, but I have been going through a rough strech.) We soon learn that it's a boy, and the due date is late January. While everybody is happy, I'm nervous. I haven't left the "nest," and I'm just apprehensions about being an uncle.
