The Dodgers won, 8-5. And, no, I didn't have the 18-inch, $25 corn dog called the D-bat dog. I went to the upper deck right away, then asked the guest relations where they were sold, and they told me they were sold on the lower concourse only! I thought, "No way I'm going down for an expensive corn dog." Next time.
Status update
On Monday, my dad and I went to Urgent Care. I had a large "bump" on the back of my neck. The doctor said I had a boil. He perscribed an antibiotic and said I should check back within 3-5 days. Today, I made a return trip. The boil, or cyst, not sure which, was ready to be drained. He did get most of the pus out. I'm not out of the woods. Some of the pus was bottled and are being sent to a lab. If the tests are positive, I will need further treatment. Could you still pray for me, please?
I'm an uncle!
Sometime this morning, my sister's water broke. I just found out that her baby boy has been born. So, I'm an uncle. I feel so spent. I just am not ready for such a roll. Could you please pray for the baby, my sister, and me?

Big news!
My sister called my house on Father's Day. She's going to have a baby! (I know this is extremely late, but I have been going through a rough strech.) We soon learn that it's a boy, and the due date is late January. While everybody is happy, I'm nervous. I haven't left the "nest," and I'm just apprehensions about being an uncle.
