One fact about the Arizona Cardinals is that head coaches with this team don't last long.  Bruce Arians just tied the team's record of coaching wins with 49 with the 19-0 shutout of the New York (football) Giants during Week 16, the first shutout win for the Redbirds in 25 years.  Today, while looking at the Football section of HFBoards, I saw a tweet from football analyst Michael Lombardi that reports have the Cardinals and Arians have parted ways.  (Keep in mind that sports reports are unofficial and could end up not happening).  If true, I feel sad for Bruce.  He started out strong for Arizona, leading Arizona to the playoffs 2 out of the 3 first years here in the desert.  Unfortunately, Carson started to get hurt, the rest of the NFC caught up the the Cards, and the team didn't get the heir apparent to Carson.  This probably means the Cards will dump Carson Palmer, and could mean Larry Fitzgerald might leave Arizona, too.  It's the dreaded R-word fans don't want to hear: "Rebuilding."
