Long time watchers of me know that I'm a big fan of former "Today" anchor and half-Japanese American Ann Curry. (Boy, will Michelle Malkin be shocked to hear that. 
) When the program was having a ratings slump, NBC decided to force the female anchor to resign instead of having Matt Lauer, a veteran anchor instead of Ann. Today, moments ago, I was looking through Twitter on my phone (Yes, I have the Twitter app on my phone 
) and after going through a lot of Christian tweets, the first thing I found out that Matt Lauer has been Matt Lauer has been terminated from NBC due to a sexual misconduct complaint. Hoda Kotb has taken Matt's place. The usual intro has been redone so that Matt's name is removed. No replacement has been named, because the complaint was filed last night. This is shocking. I hope the morning show, the first in America, can continue. I grew up watching "Today." I hope the show can continue without Matt.

Status update
On Monday, my dad and I went to Urgent Care. I had a large "bump" on the back of my neck. The doctor said I had a boil. He perscribed an antibiotic and said I should check back within 3-5 days. Today, I made a return trip. The boil, or cyst, not sure which, was ready to be drained. He did get most of the pus out. I'm not out of the woods. Some of the pus was bottled and are being sent to a lab. If the tests are positive, I will need further treatment. Could you still pray for me, please?
I'm an uncle!
Sometime this morning, my sister's water broke. I just found out that her baby boy has been born. So, I'm an uncle. I feel so spent. I just am not ready for such a roll. Could you please pray for the baby, my sister, and me?

Big news!
My sister called my house on Father's Day. She's going to have a baby! (I know this is extremely late, but I have been going through a rough strech.) We soon learn that it's a boy, and the due date is late January. While everybody is happy, I'm nervous. I haven't left the "nest," and I'm just apprehensions about being an uncle.

I'm sure it will survive. It's time for the whole mindset of 'arrogant male fanatsy' to end. Hopefully, things will not go so far that backlash will be created. Just enough outrage and contempt to foster a new world of work equality we have never known.
